Greg Foat brings an unprecedented jazzy sensibility to a song from the Colombians Cumbia Moderna de Soledad (from the late 70s), a band set out to modernize the folk music of their people.

Venezuelan folklore group founded early 70 years of past century. Originally they played central joropo, a kind od music usually played by two musician, a harpist and a singer, who also plays maracas (arpa y buche), but now with a modern instrumentation based on keyboards, drums, percussion and sax.
